I am honored to join the Board of Directors for Forever Footprints, an organization that supports families who have suffered loss of a child. I was introduced to the organization after my wife and I lost our daughter, Nina, in August 2020. As we left the hospital without our baby in our arms, we were able to carry a Memory Box which contained a lock of Nina’s hair, pictures that the hospital took of her, a blanket she was wrapped in, and her first beanie, along with some other remembrances. This memory box was provided by Forever Footprints as a donation from the Harmon family who had lost their son. His name was tagged to the box and his family can be proud that their son was able to provide significant comfort to us at a time of despair. We are grateful to be sponsoring the Memory Box program this year in Nina’s honor so that other families who suffer similar tragedy can get some comfort as well. This is one of the ways our daughter is able to create a meaningful impact in this world, without having taken a breath on the outside.I am humbled to be part of this Board and continue Nina's legacy to help so many families cope and hope.

Self started a learning and education center for students ranging from grade four through university to provide tutoring services and standardized test preparation to middle school, high school, and college students.

Consultant within Systems Integration & Technology (SIT) practice providing advisory services to financial services clients spanning mid-size regional banks, credit card processors and auto-finance captives. Supported deal negotiations with SVP and VP level client leadership and managed teams in deploying large transformation programs. Also led internal initiatives ranging from people development through regional community meetings and targeted client growth opportunities through field of play and client planning sessions

Served as a Project Coordinator and Business Analyst for multiple IT projects within the Real Estate and Finance industries. Concurrently managed teams of 10-15 resources in executing various implementations for title insurance systems, accounting platforms and data warehouses. Supported JAD sessions to gather and analyze detailed requirements, developed user stories, documented and executed test plans and test cases, and satisfied reporting requirements using Essbase and Crystal Reports.

Concurrently managed multiple business and technology projects primarily focusing on enhancing and maintaining the wholesale broker website for the company’s largest client, Washington Mutual. Created complex project and resource plans, coordinated requirements, design, build and testing phases and assisted with post-implementation support activities.

Competed on the ATP Tour as a professional tennis player, participating in several tier II tournaments including Futures and Satellite events. Retired due to severe shoulder injury requiring surgery in December 2002.
