Aditya Watts is formally educated in Film Direction from Whistling Woods International (2008-2010) in Mumbai, India. He wrote and directed 6 short films before embarking on an independent journey which led to various attempts at developing and executing a Feature Film.The first such proper go was in 2014-15 when he shot a micro-budget sci-fi fantasy The Golden Boyz. This attempt, due to a variety of reasons, became more of an education than a project ready to be sent out into the world. It remains in his hard drive, variously afflicted yet cherished child.The second attempt began in 2018 which culminated in the shooting of Kaansya (Bronzed) an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida. After going through various indie film struggles, the film was finally finished in Nov’23.
