I am a chartered accountant and am presently running my own financial advisory business under the name Fiscal Edge.I was previously associated with SaaS based startups including Yellow.ai, Liminal, Signzy. In signzy and Liminal i drove the FP&A division and was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, investor relations, MIS reporting, etc. In yelow.ai I drove the controllership division and was responsible for audits, book closure, compliances, etc., for India, SEA and Middle east entities. I have driven Transfer pricing policy setup, first time IFC implementation and have also successfully implemented ERP solution within the group. I also have experience driving Financial and legal due diligence for fundraising activities and interact with investors on a regular basis.During my stint with FP&A division, I was involved in revenue & financial forecasting, expense analysis, setting up policies for department budgets, bad debts provision, etc. I was also previously associated with BSR and Co LLP, Bangalore. Including a rotation to KPMG Paris, I’ve worked over 4.5 years post-qualification with the firm. I have worked extensively on revenue accounting, reporting under Ind AS / IFRS / SoX, and offshore audits. I've also participated in various internal quality reviews and have also been recognized on multiple occasions for individual and team performance.I hold practical exposure on applicability and implementation of Ind AS, International financial reporting standards, standards on auditing, preparation and finalisation of annual accounts and compliance with laws and regulation. As an assistant manager with my firm, my role was to adopt best practices, implement standards, and structure transactions, while achieving the overall objective of timely, high quality financial reporting. I add value to my clients ranging from startups to MNCs operating in the e-commerce, technology and consumer market sectors.In term of qualification, I am a Chartered Accountant (Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) and hold a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Bangalore University.Outside of work, am a passionate traveler and have travelled over 10 countries across Europe and Asia. Am also a sports enthusiast and have been part of my School cricket team. Cooking and watching TV shows are my major stress busters. I also speak up to 4 languages.
