I am also passionate about Data Analytics with a Masters in Data Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology. Some of my areas of expertise include hydraulic valve design, hydraulic seals, Solenoid Actuator design, CFD, FEA and hydraulic flow simulation for cartridge valves, material selection, project management, metal joining technologies. I have led several high value projects from conception to production including development of new high pressure/ high force solenoid actuators, designing and developing a new product line of cartridge valves with integral position sensing to improve safety in real world applications. I have a rich experience of continuous product improvement leading to significant cost reduction, improved performance and reduced reject rates.My experience also includes designing high precision machined components, conducting extensive simulation and modeling, determining engineering test requirements for product verification and validation testing per industry and customer standards, designing test methods and equipment. I have routinely dealt with end customers to troubleshoot field issues and suggest product improvements.I have experience leading projects with cross-functional teams for product improvement, process development and cost reduction. Additional areas of interest include Rapid prototyping/3D printing, non-destructive testing, Statistics, Six Sigma methodologies, Dimensional Tolerance analysis.
