Develop, manage, and present multiple in-depth analyses and ad-hoc requests focused on defining and assessing core benchmarks and KPIs, evaluating e-commerce performance to optimize sales funnels and investigating ways to streamline user flow on e-commerce website:(a) Analyzed how changes to the e-commerce site affected KPIs for user success through the site funnel and recommended adjusted benchmarks.(b) Assessed whether changes in local retail stores were having an impact on e-commerce performance, broken down by different cohorts.(c) Examined site data to determine how/where on the site users are findings products to purchase or interacting with loyalty modules.(d) Built and maintain streamlined data workflow to convert manual reporting into Redshift tables for use in analytics Tableau dashboards.(e) Created a data pipeline and Tableau dashboard to track how demand in different product categories was affected by promotional sales.Use multiple scripting and self-service analytics tools (Alteryx, SQL Workbench) for analyses and pull data from Amazon Redshift databases.Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and the retail, e-commerce, and business analytics teams to communicate and document our analytics goals, align expectations, prepare and present the findings, and develop plans for future projects.

Create, manage, and optimize SQL dashboards / daily workflows to track and visualize key metrics for our Search, Discovery, and Growth teams, using a suite of data visualization tools.Develop Python notebooks / ad-hoc SQL scripting to run complex analyses for our recommendation models, work on experiment analysis, detect inconsistencies in various data pipelines and tables, and enhance data-driven business decisions to improve user experience and engagement.Coordinate the evaluation of search and recommendation results for any major event between the Search, Discovery, and Content teams: formulate a list of topical queries to inspect across all search and suggest pages, delegate tasks to resolve any inconsistencies, and report check as complete once all changes are verified.Maintain data quality and consistency of recommendations and search results by:(a) Regularly scraping test queries, manually evaluating their results against aggregated data, and updating our data sources.(b) Implementing automated daily reports to identify any inaccuracies and resolve data quality issues or workflow failures.(c) Troubleshooting discrepancies in core metrics to address recent shifts, explore for any patterns or causes, and organize follow up tasks with respective teams as necessary.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and the Chief Executive Officer, my role focuses on three important aspects: analytics and optimizations, client interaction and partnership expansion and team leadership. My goal is to increase our overall spend with our publishers, typically ranging from $30,000 - $300,000 in a month.I ensure that our ad inventory matches supply partners (publishers) with qualified demand partners (advertisers). As well, I optimize these campaigns routinely to maximize the performance of our ad inventory.I am also accountable for driving partner expansion by regularly meeting with publishers and advertisers, reviewing their performance metrics, articulating key insights and proposing new strategic campaigns based on campaign trends.I work regularly on expanding outreaching efforts by coordinating with new advertising agencies, identifying direct sites / apps, and other potential clients.Selected Accomplishments:* Worked closely with nearly 40 partners to drive and optimize daily campaigns that increased month-to-month revenue by 200% in Q1 and ultimately turned around revenue by 800% - 1000%+ in Q4.* Partnered with the Marketing Director to develop email templates and collaterals that resulted in increasing number of partners by 40% within 3 months and created a consistent channel of monthly revenue.* Developed new workflows, built and maintained a repository of tools and resources and streamlined operational tasks that enabled team to prioritize their tasks and improve turnaround time for account requests from around 3-4 days on average to 24-48 hours. The additional time allowed us to improve partnership expansion efforts.* Supervised a team of 15 interns during the spring and summer of 2018 in executing account requests, optimizing partner campaigns and in developing a plan for client acquisition.
