As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Department of Computer Science at The University of Arizona, I apply my skills in Python, Scikit-Learn, and machine learning to explore active learning with noisy labels, a challenging and relevant problem in data science. I work under the guidance of Dr. Chicheng Zhang on a paper that proposes a novel algorithm based on early stopping gradient descent under Tsybakov noise. I also have experience in developing a visualization dashboard for real-time sensor data and a web application for speech and video recording using C++, wxWidgets, Flask, HTML, and JavaScript.In addition to my research, I am also an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the same department, where I support the learning and success of over 150 students in various computer science courses. I assist with grading, feedback, office hours, online forums, course content, and staff meetings. This role has enabled me to foster collaborative environments, adapt to new challenges, and consistently deliver high-quality work. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, expected to graduate in May 2024, with a Global Wildcat Scholarship.My passion lies not only in technology but also in the potential it holds to significantly impact our world. I firmly believe that true progress happens at the intersection of innovation and empathy. I am eager to employ my technological expertise to contribute to projects that have the potential to change lives and societies for the better.
