At Nextqore Inc., I had the opportunity to apply my expertise in regression models to develop a predictive analytics solution for estimating fuel consumption in diesel generators.During my internship, I collected and analyzed large datasets, identifying key variables that influence fuel consumption. By employing advanced regression techniques like decision trees, boosting, and neural networks, I constructed a robust prediction model that accurately estimated the amount of fuel consumed by the generators under varying conditions. Additionally, I collaborated closely with data scientists, to gather domain-specific knowledge and validate the accuracy of the prediction model. By integrating their expertise with my analytical insights, we fine-tuned the model using cross validation techniques. My internship experience at Nextqore Inc. allowed me to further develop my skills in data collection, preprocessing, and statistical analysis. Through data visualization and insightful reporting, I effectively communicated complex findings to data scientists, empowering them to make data-driven decisions regarding fuel optimization strategies.
