Advisor and consultant to AIPI, a research and advocacy non-profit dedicated to seeking political solutions to catastrophic risks from emerging AI technology.Providing strategic counsel on developing, recommending, and advocating for government policies to mitigate advanced AI’s most extreme risks, including the use of AI in warfare and military interventions.

Policy Research & Recommendations: Developing recommended policy positions and messaging for local, state, federal, and international political candidates.Strategic Messaging Development: Working with the Head of Communications to help firm’s clients (two 2022 midterm candidates, and one advocacy organization) strategize on how to tell their story and communicate in ways both compelling and authentic.Writing & Content Production: Researching and drafting communication materials, including talking points, press releases, media pitches, speeches, strategic communication, campaign plans, weekly roundups, remarks for candidates and principals, and op-eds for the firm’s clients.Rapid Response: Assist the firm’s rapid response communications operations on behalf of clients, responding quickly and aggressively in response to misinformation, pushing back in real time to correct false and damaging information, and then, redirecting the narrative.

▪Regular contributor to FP Passport, a international policy/politics blog featuring commentary by the FP editorial staff. ▪Responsibilities included evaluating manuscript submissions, pitching ideas for articles, researching, fact-checking, conducting interviews, writing and editing articles prior to publication. ▪Worked closely with FP editor, Moises Naim, on editorial columns. E.g. “The YouTube Effect”, LA Times. ▪Excelled within a creative team environment while adhering to strict deadlines and high standards.

▪Prepared and coordinated weekly briefings on UN initiatives for various UN affiliated NGOs. ▪At the Department of Public Information/NGO Section, helped prepare DPI/NGO annual conference on “Rebuilding Societies Emerging from Conflict: A Shared Responsibility”. ▪Assisted in developing and designing intranet site for UNDP’s Bureau of Resources and Strategic Partnerships.▪Worked as part of IT systems team in the Department of Peace Keeping Operations to maintain mission readiness.
