About Adiv Paradise

I am a Data Scientist at Echologics, a Mueller brand. I mostly work with our EchoShore DX fixed leak detection product, in which we install thousands of acoustic sensors on hydrants and valves across a city, and use cutting-edge physics-driven analysis and algorithms to identify leaks on water mains, service pipes, hydrants, and consumer plumbing. Most water utilities lose significant amounts of water before it even reaches consumer meters due to small and medium-sized leaks that go undetected; the work that we do reduces water loss and helps utilities limit their carbon footprints. I actively monitor data, as well as use my background in astrophysics and climate science to research and develop new algorithms and techniques to help us work faster and more efficiently, and detect ever-smaller and quieter leaks.
