I have a forestry engineer diploma with 15 years of experience in tropical forests issues, mainly in Côte d’Ivoire, well known as the first cocoa producer in the world but also with one of the highest deforestation rate. My experience covers both classified forests, national parks and community forests but also the impact of agriculture and various infrastructures on forest cover. It therefore involves both the communities, the government, the donors and sometimes many others actors. My personal objective is, by preserving, restoring and developing forests, to be able to reconcile the needs of the different stakeholders involved in forest management and exploitation.Governance, Ecosystem services, Climate change adaptation and mitigation, Payments for ecosystem services are the major themes I am working on commonly.
