Following a successful pilot phase and program design, I transitioned to a new role aimed at commercializing our sustainable green solutions to shipper partners. Within this capacity, I was responsible for:Making presentations and sales pitches to introduce our green solutions to high-level shipper partners (in German and English).Analysing the carbon reduction targets of our shippers and identifying lanes that are carbon hotspots where emissions can be significantly reduced.Suggesting the appropriate green solutions to help shippers achieve their net-zero targets like fostering the adoption of new technologies such as electric trucks or our In-house developed advanced fuel insetting solution (HVO-flex).Optimizing our shippers' transport through effective route planning and increasing our ability to reduce empty kilometres through our proprietary algorithms. Tailoring our reporting standards to the incoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).Overseeing the Ecovadis reassessment process to accurately document our notable progress in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance.

As part of the Green Revenue Department developed our green solutions to help empower our customers to access low-carbon transport technologies on every one of their transports through multiple vectors of sustainability by duties such as:• Leading our Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) Re-accreditation project through a fuel consumption study to determine the emission factors and new consumption values including intermodal rail and intermodal boat for our in-house carbon accounting software E.A.R.T.H system• Developed together with the team our HVOFlex product, a uniquely developed, digitally-backed fuel insetting system• Data gathering for our annual carbon footprint calculation. • Assisting with audit and ISO14001 certification for HVOFlex our fuel in-setting solution pending a recognized ISO for chain of custody. • Measuring and reporting emissions for our shippers’ monthly reports.• Together with the team increased the total amount of Green Transports in the 2022 fiscal year by 2.5%• Developing and offering tailored made green solutions to shippers based on the emission reduction targets and budgets. • Growing our network of advanced fuel (HVO) partners through strategic partnerships.
