Help People Heal is devoted to health education and wellness promotion activities. Eve Adler teaches Acccessible Movement classes in group, individual, and virtual settings that blend Hatha Yoga, Qi Gong (Yi Jin Jing), body and breath awareness techniques, and postures that are accommodating to maintain, restore, and protect health as we age. She also produces "Help People Heal" podcasts that highlight informal conversations about health, wellness and aging, and has been a guest speaker and faculty presenter for a variety of health institutions.

The Society for Nanlaoshu is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the ancient Chinese longevity practices of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Meditation as taught by Master Ham King Koo (1902-1999). Through meditation and physical movement we pursue health and well-being.

Lecturer and lead instructor in Fundamentals of Nursing, Advanced Medical-Surgical nursing, Pediatrics, Physical Assessment, Dosage Calculations, Multicultural health and healing practices, and the Home Health Aide Certification Program.

Has taught online “Accessible Yoga on the Mat” classes at the Accessible Yoga Studio. This gentle class blends variations of Hatha Yoga postures, Qi Gong practices, and body and breath awareness techniques. Mentors students in the Accessible Yoga Teacher Certification Program.

Responsible for jointly steering the Board of Directors to fulfill the mission of the Hawaii Yoga Institute. Duties include collaborating on agendas for board meetings, reviewing finances and annual budgets, leading board in fundraising campaigns and grant activities, onboarding of new board members.

Members of the Hawaii Yogi Institute’s Board of Directors help coordinate communications, fundraising, strategic planning, marketing, and innovative education efforts. Hawaii Yoga Institute (HYI) provides nationally recognized yoga teacher training programs and continuing education courses that empower students and faculty to develop their unique yoga teaching style through service based yoga. HYI specifically reaches out to include students and faculty members who represent a strong diversity of race, class, gender, size, physical ability and spiritual traditions to inspire and empower them to model and teach skills for improving physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health for all people within their community.

Produced and hosted Podcasts for HealthCetera, an evidence-based news, analysis and commentary program that started out as on land radio and migrated online. “We aim to engage in, start, and foster the place online where diverse, dynamic, front-line people talk about healthcare and health policy. We believe journalism has an inherent role in promoting a healthy and just society.”

Represented the faculty of Santa Monica College in all academic and professional matters. Served as faculty liaison to the Superintendent/President, Administrative Staff, and Santa Monica College Board of Trustees.

Provided professional nursing care to patients on GONDA Diagnostic, Observation, and Treatment Unit.
