Managing a new startup company focusing on Project Management, PKI, Internet Security, IT Solutions and Policies,Training and Graphics Design.

As the Head of PKI, I lead and manage the Certification Authority of the Government of Bahrain. My main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Heading and managing the operations of Government of Bahrain's Certification Authority.- Acting as the consultant to the Government of Bahrain on Internet security issues and services. - Managing the Public Key Infrastructure (“PKI”) Project for the Government of Bahrain and providing consultancy on PKI and other related matters.Highlight of Achievements - Planned, designed and implemented PKI project, plan and strategy for the Kingdom of Bahrain.- Planned, designed and successfully completed the creation of Certification Authority for the government of Bahrain.- Successfully generated private and public keys for Bahrain National Root Certification Authority.- Streamlined processes and procedures and conducted internal audits of the PKI Section to conform to ISO 27001.- Planned, designed and built PKI Datacentre.- Led the tendering process and saved more than BD1 million in PKI CA Software procurement.- Designated as a member of Bahrain's E-voting committee.- Streamlined the issuance procedures for digital certificates (SSL) for government agencies.- Implemented PKI usage in the Central Service Bureau of the Kingdom of Bahrain.- Played a leadership role in ISO 27001 certification for Kingdom of Bahrain's Central Informatics Organisation Certification Authority.

I represented an established Malaysian consultancy company and executed the role of PKI and Security Consultant for the Government of Bahrain in it’s drive towards e-government. Highlight of achievements:- Developed National CA/RA Policies for the Government of Bahrain- Provision of consultancy on PKI and other related matters (deliverables are documented and submitted to the Government of Bahrain)- Provision of consultancy on Internet Security (deliverables are documented and submitted to the Government of Bahrain)

During this employment, I undertook multiple, but interrelated, roles. As a security engineer, I was responsible for securing, monitoring and properly protecting the company’s network and servers. As IT Consultant, I provided consultancy on IT related matters including, but not limited to, PKI and network security and conducted training. As the Key Manager, I was a key personnel that enabled the company to provide complete security solutions and leading trust services that are needed by individuals, enterprises, government, and e-commerce service providers.Highlight of Achievements:- Satisfactorily provided consultation on PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Internet security and other related matters to the company, related parties and any clients of the company.- Executed the proper management of the company's cryptographic software and hardware used in Key Management.- Executed and completed certification creation, activation and signing in Key Ceremonies conducted for the company’s customers.- Contributed towards the increase in the company’s sales by assisting the marketing department on technical details when dealing with the company’s clients (including, but not limited to SSL, PKI).- Successfully managed several of the company’s PKI projects.- Provision of consultancy and technical support to the company and its clients- Provision of support on company’s IT related matters including but not limited to PC troubleshooting, software and hardware installation and maintenance.- Successful management of the company's web (Apache and IIS 5), email (Qmail with Horde front end) and DNS servers
