Over the past thirteen years, I have developed a skill set that combines my systems-engineering background with my sales and business development experience that allows me to drive innovative technology companies into developing business in new markets and through channel partnerships. After completing my MBA, I toughened up my sales skills to balance out the deliberative and conservative approach that engineers use to solve problems. The solution for this was to take on a role in outside sales, developing a business from scratch. This trial-by-fire provided me with the fearlessness that is required when bringing new ideas to big companies. Following my roles in outside sales, I shifted into strategic business development. Over the past four years, I have been successful in building teams and strategies for selling innovative technologies to strategic partners around the world.
