Combined role with Salbourne consultancy. Head of IT Services Management and Business Performance Management for Sigma ASL, leading on the IT function for the UK operation and overall Business Performance.

• Combined role focusing on ITSM, Business Performance Management, Project Management and Business Intelligence.• Maintaining and developing the ICT infrastructure and service delivery strategy for the UK operation in line with best practices and internationally recognised standards such as ISO/IEC 20000, ISO/IEC 27000 series and ITIL.• Managing the day to day operations of the ICT department, coordinating staff resources to monitor, support, maintain and deliver ICT systems and services in line with defined CSFs and KPIs, ensuring that targets are met.• Driving the implementation of ICT Business Continuity Management for the UK operation in line with ISO/IEC 27031:2011.• Defining, implementing and maintaining ICT policy documents to cover all aspects of the ICT function within the UK operation, including but not limited to security, disaster recovery, acceptable usage, crisis planning, procurement and service provision.• Vendor Management of 3rd party ICT and Business suppliers and partners to provide cost effective ICT systems and solutions where required to complement the ICT service delivery for the UK operation.• Managing ICT/Non-ICT projects through the full project lifecycle, applying the PRINCE2 methodology and coordinating resources to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.• Working closely with the Senior Management team to define, implement and maintain business intelligence (BI) strategy for the UK operation, utlising tools such as Qlikview to design and develop Management reports using internal system data.• Meticulously assessing emerging and maturing technologies, standards and platforms. Where applicable investigating the business case for incorporating within the BI/ICT strategy and service portfolio.• Providing detailed analysis of business performance data to the Senior Management Team at regular intervals, highlighting areas of concern, identifying root causes and possible solutions.

• IT Infrastructure Support - supporting a network comprising Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows XP/7 and Linux platforms• Systems Development - predominantly Microsoft Visual Basic and ASP/VB.NET, developing and maintaining internal systems and websites• Systems Integration - integrating internal systems with other services (e.g. Manufacturing systems)
