My current role began as an assistant for the Inside Sales department. Working from the reception area, I have interacted with visitors and supported the department by composing sales proposals for new equipment. Through the Corona Virus pandemic I remained on site, offering moral support to our in-house production employees as well as sales staff working from home.I seized the opportunity to expand my responsibilities within the company by joining the Customer Service group, where I am able to work directly with customers as well as fellow employees, working in locations such as Germany and Jakarta. With the use of both Infor XA and SAP software, I assist in the customer order process from start to finish in collaboration with our shipping team, to ensure products being sent to foreign locations have all necessary documentation for Customs clearance and meet various Governmental standards.

In order to maintain a lean inventory system, I ran multiple reports throughout the day using theEpicor ERP system. I was responsible for producing and sending daily purchase orders to multiplevendors via Epicor and Excel. I have been trained in utilizing the KANBAN system of managementfor both manufactured and purchased parts. I conducted daily cycle counts, and resolved inventorydiscrepancies. I assisted in the processing of received goods and have implemented processimprovements for multiple departments.

In working with our sales department, I initiated a follow up procedure for quotations which involved reaching out to potential customers and documenting feedback. With this information, the company is better able to track the timeliness of the quote process and view the results of any given quote. I worked on various sales projects for our Vice President, organized company picnics, and in 2014,compiled the first company newsletter in over 10 years. In order to better hone my skills in MicrosoftExcel, I participated in 2 classes which were instructed by New Horizons in Brookfield. Through myparticipation in these classes, I learned to better create and edit spreadsheets and workbooks.

I was solely responsible for all aspects of human resources (payroll, health insurance coverage, workerscompensation coverage), accounts payable and receivable for a customer base of approximately 50(processing invoices, receiving payments, recording bank deposits), business liabilities (insurancecoverage for buildings and general liability coverage), customer quotes, customer service andreception. These duties were accomplished using QuickBooks 2008 software as well as Microsoft Wordand Excel.

In my 7+ years of employment, I was able to bridge my skills over multiple departments includingelectrical assembly, shipping/receiving, quality control and inventory control. As an assistant to the inventory control supervisor, my duties included running daily reports in order toevaluate supply and demand for production.
