My passion is bringing out the best in a team to quickly solve new problems with excellence and bold innovation, to improve the lives of those who are impacted. I enjoy adding value to people and seeing them learn, grow and succeed. I desire to delight customers with new features or resolved pain points. I love seeing a team work efficiently to beat expectations through vision, collaboration and operating in each member’s strengths. I'm comfortable executing big programs on compressed timelines. My specialty is bringing startup products/businesses to market, and then building them to sustainability and profitability. As an employee at Polaris Industries, I joined Slingshot as a Design Engineer one year prior to its public debut and 11 years later ended my career as a Program Leader for a 3yr $23M program. As a co-founder of Infusion Artisan Beverages, I helped my wife launch a part-time nitrogen-infused craft beverage business in 2019, innovated the state’s only nitro coffee delivery service to navigate covid, and now 5 years later we sustainably operate the coffee shop within our church. My leadership is positive and encouraging. I believe the best about others and play to their strengths. I’ve uncovered success throughout my career by leaning into the relationships others tear-down or avoid. Developing talent is a priority and I invest resources into this area. I was greatly impacted by feedback from a recent direct report, “I’ve had good managers throughout my career, but none that have put in the time, effort and hard work that you have. I was frustrated at times with the questions you asked me, but I came to realize that you were intent on teaching me versus just getting work done. You challenged me in ways that greatly impacted my personal development. 13 years at Polaris Industries taught me the culture of a winning organization that is the #1 sales leader in powersports. I understand the power of customer-driven product development and keeping an entrepreneurial spirit in large corporations. Polaris’ lean workforce, continuous innovation and speed to market are wired into my mindset. Leading Integrated Project Teams of up to 75 people has taught me focus and prioritization to deliver exceptional results on tight timelines, year after year.Strengths Finder: Motivator | Potential Cultivator | Believing | Confidence | Unifier | Winner | Excellence
