CurrentCollects, catalogues, stores, disseminates and redacts video images gathered from TTC surface vehicles, subway trains, subway stations and other TTC buildings and facilitiesProcesses CCTV images from various TTC locations to support on-going investigations including criminal and workplace mattersConducts video retrieval activities in accordance with the standards set by the Ontario Privacy Commission and TTC’s Video Recording Policy, and in harmony with other TTC departments and Emergency Response agenciesConducts video redaction as required for various internal and external clientsAssists members of the Investigative Services Unit with investigations of a complex, confidential and sensitive nature as it relates to video retrieval issuesAttends court on behalf of the TTC and provides evidence related to CCTV images as well as acts as the TTC representative with lawyers, agencies and defendants regarding the disclosure of video images as requiredDemonstrates behaviours that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Helps to remove barriers and accommodate employees and customers (within their area of responsibility) in accordance with TTC’s commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC’s policies.
