Investment Clerk• Provides a support function to the Branch Administration Manager.• Performs as a co-treasury custodian for Branch cash holdings.• Acts as a supervisor for authorization of certain Branch banking transactions.Foreign Exchange Duties:• Dealing with all foreign exchange transactions, handling cash, cheques, bank giro credits, travellers' cheques and foreign currencies. • Buying and selling currency and up-selling at all times. • Dealing with money transfers. • Handling large amounts of cash including sterling and foreign banking.• Dealing with all foreign exchange enquiries. • Providing good customer service and encouraging repeat business. • Ordering currency. • Balancing and banking at the end of the day. • Ensuring you are completing all transactions compliantly in accordance with ABL guidelines. Relief Enquiries Duties:• Responsible for attending to all general enquiries from all walk in clients and to direct them to the appropriate consultants to deliver excellent client service.• Provides efficient and effective service to clients. Relief Teller Duties:• Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits; cashing cheques; issuing savings withdrawals etc.• Records transactions on systems.• Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions; counting and packaging currency and coins. Sales Consultant Duties:• Responsible for attending to all walk in clients and attending to consultation with client;• To deliver excellent client service;• Cross sell the banks products at all given opportunities;• Attending to all Sales related queries.• Opening of New Accounts;• Ensuring consults are in accordance with bank guidelines etc.
