 To manage the purchasing of goods and services from the best market sources at optimum cost and quality within stipulated time frame. To plan, prepare and oversee the annual purchasing budget.To ensure short and long term sustainable cost savings for The Company through transparent, healthy and effective purchasing practices. To oversee and recommend the approval of (Vendors/Suppliers) Pre-qualifications and Evaluations. To do (Vendors/Suppliers) Relationship Management. To ensure optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in all areas of goods and services. To ensure negotiation of the best commercial terms & conditions with (Vendors/Suppliers). To ensure negotiation of best HSEQ terms and practices in critical business areas of The Company. To propose and implement the purchasing best practices, policies, manuals and SOPs in line with Group guidelines. To ensure usage of best Sourcing Strategies and E-sourcing solutions by taking into cognizance The Company's business needs. To help inducting and developing new market sources with the help of all stakeholders. To understand The business requirements and to use knowledge in bringing value chain at all levels.  To implement and ensure purchasing best practices, compliance and controls in TL (SAP). To ensure clear communication within internal and external customers (Vendors/Suppliers). To ensure an efficient and effective reporting mechanism on Savings, KPls and Purchase Performance using appropriate IT & ERP tools. To generate appropriate reporting from time to time and analyze the situation to anticipate and bring about continous improvement. Responsible to lead, train and guide purchasing team as per the best practices within the group.To take approprioate measures and initiatives and focus on improvement in specifications and scope of work to bring the costs down while delivering the optimal functional value for the product and service to the end customers.
