I am an Accounting and Finance graduate from Lund University currently working at ESOM as an Accounts Receivable accountant who thrives in an environment where I can demonstrate my skills through being creative, hard-working, and organized to provide a positive impact in my organization. I am an ambitious individual who enjoys being pushed to his limit, and then some more! Critical thinking and problem-solving are two strengths that I value greatly and strive to always improve to keep up with the everchanging world we live in. While also being a quick learner with the ability to adapt quickly, my strengths stem from my diverse international background where building rapport and trust engenders strong relationships which enables creativity and critical thinking within a team.I started working for ESOM in the finance department as an Accounts Payable accountant. In my short time of 3 months and deep impact there, I was then moved to Accounts Receivable to enhance the quality of work and information in that department. My responsibilities are immense and wonderfully challenging as i had hoped. Please take a moment to give them a read!● Monitoring the GL accounts that are used by PPM and AR.● Weekly reconciliation of intercompany books for ESOM and sister companies: MESI and ACCC.● Reconciliation of the sub-ledger with the trial balance.● Preparing and analyzing Aging, Collection, Billing, and DSO reports.● Preparing and managing the Estimated Credit Loss report as well as preparing the IFRS Aging report to comply with IFRS 9.● Solely responsible to prepare and submit the VAT report required by ZATCA and ensure full accuracy of the submitted VAT returns report with the ESOM, MESI, and ACCC books.● Reviewing and issuing PPM and AR invoices, checking and issuing credit notes as per clients’ requests.● Recording collection and accruals, as well as reversing the accruals daily.● Updating client’s statement of accounts.
