I am a non-formal education professional serving as a program manager at the Centre for Educational Initiatives Step by Step in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.At CEI Step by Step, I am developing and managing several projects aiming to support the professional development of teachers and educators at different levels of education. I also deal with organizational management as well as developing a social entrepreneurship startup empowering school teachers to market their innovative teaching practices. Besides the development and delivery of training within CEI Step by Step scope, I have also worked as a freelance consultant and trainer in domestic and international training organized by the Mozaik Foundation, Youth Council of Federation of BiH, and Centre for Youth Education Travnik.My civic engagement started in high school in Busovača where I was trying to overcome the gaps among students created by the “two schools under one roof” phenomena. I am one of the founders of the Association of secondary school students in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ASuBiH) – a youth-led NGO dealing with student issues through local teams in more than 60 local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.I graduated in economics at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zenica where I was also engaged in the students' association and Student Union for two years. I got my master's degree in economics at International Burch University in Sarajevo. I was working at the Foundation Schüler Helfen Leben for almost ten years where I developed and implemented different non-formal education programs and projects. I was coordinating the Academy for Young Leaders in Civil Society, a service-learning-based intensive leadership education program enabling university students to become role models for their peers through changing local policies of their interest.I was also in charge of ordinary public relations activities of Foundation Schuler Helfen Leben Sarajevo and booking management of Training center SHL House Sarajevo.Traveling is my passion which includes honorary tour guide jobs and selling travel arrangements/package tours. A particular field of my interest is instructional design and e-learning where I try to combine my knowledge and experience in non-formal education with different methodologies (e.g. design thinking, ADDIE...) and software (Moodle, Articulate Storyline...) to create a better learning experience for different users in educational projects.
