• Lead and manage the Systems and Solutions section within the IT Department of QTerminals, a leading port operator in Qatar.• Manage, motivate, and develop the Port IT application teams, ensuring that the organization within my responsibility is adequately skilled and staffed.• Develop and manage product vision and strategies, ensuring that product roadmaps are in place and aligned with the Port's business and user needs.• Drive strategic initiatives to develop and implement new IT systems, ensuring that the deliverables are implemented in line with stakeholders' expectations.• Provide key input for the creation and maintenance of the overall IT strategy, ensuring that cross-system requirements and IT integrations are defined.• Successfully manage multiple projects, including Enterprise Assets Management System, Automated Gates Project, PCS (Port Community System), PMIS (Port Management Information System) integrator with TOS system (JADE and Navis N4), and ERP Oracle Fusion Cloud.• Ensure stakeholder involvement and alignment, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Port operations and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.• Effectively manage vendors, including negotiating contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and managing vendor relationships.• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other project documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.• Proactively identify and address project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as necessary.• Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and team members and maintain a focus on quality and continuous improvement.• Demonstrate adaptability to changing business requirements and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
