The objectives are to: WP1: Explore the experiences and views of peer support for people living with HIV in Wales with service providers who have experience of designing, setting up and/or delivering peer support services for people living with HIV in the UK. WP2: Explore the experiences and views of the proposed service with people living with HIV in Wales WP3: Summarise the research literature WP4: Identify relevant theoretical frameworks to inform any potential service model. WP5: Develop a protocol for further intervention development and evaluation which could be used as the basis for a larger funding application (or rationale for not progressing this based on evidence from scoping). The availability of routine data for research has increased and infrastructure funding has enabled much of this. However, challenges remain for data access, storage, efficient use, and onward sharing for re-use projects. Those challenges as experienced and perceived by the wider community, with the opportunity to direct methodological priorities, have not been systematically collected and reported.COMORANT-UK will systematically and formally identify these real and perceived, ongoing challenges, collating perspectives from all relevant stakeholders in the UK.
