About Dr Adam Dn Williams
As a Research Associate at Cardiff University’s Centre for Trials Research, I specialise in managing clinical trials with a focus on population health.I hold a PhD in Medicine and a Master’s in Health Psychology, bringing extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. My research interests are deeply rooted in understanding and addressing critical public health issues.My PhD research delved into the intricate relationship between HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), sexually transmitted infections, and antimicrobial resistance. This mixed-methods study encompasses epidemiology, qualitative interviews, causal inference modelling, and intervention development, conducted in collaboration with Public Health Wales.In addition to my research, I am an Editorial Fellow at BMJ-STI, Chair and Research and Evaluation Lead for Fast Track Cardiff & Vale, and committee member of HIV Outcomes UK.
