In addition to the core duties of Engineering Manager I help in the strategic decision making process of the company regularly meeting with the owners, general manager and operations and customer service directors to help analyze the company's current position and help form a strategic direction. During my tenure at Fieldpiece, steadily grew at an average of 17% per year over 14 years that was primarily driven by the design, engineering, marketing and sales of new products.

I am ultimately responsible for managing all the new product development processes and personnel. The largest responsibility is the management and improvement of the new product development process. The second most important duty was the management and strategic selection of which products to develop. Finally, the third important duty was to coach the new product development personnel which extended beyond Fieldpiece to our contract manufacturers and their suppliers. I am experienced in managing multidisciplinary creative teams and being an active participant in the creative process.- Introduced the two most successful product in company history in 2011 and 2012, this product class is now over 1/3 of current business- 53 product introductions from October 2006 to March 2015, including design work with the following technologies-App development -Gas and liquid pressure sensing -Thermal anemometry -Weight load cells -Vane anemometry -Gas sensing (combustion products) -Psychrometry -IR Thermometry -Infrared gas detection -Thermocouples (air and contact probes) -Electrical testing- Technical expertise: published 11 times in six years as a technical expert in the industry - Visited eight countries on four continents to identify markets and establish distribution channels for our products
