A successful startup in Information Security / DLP (Data Loss Prevention) space, Provilla pioneered a host-based solution with intelligent content analysis and classification technology to help organizations protect their sensitive information from accidental disclosure as well as intentional theft. Provilla’s early success led to its acquisition by Trend Micro in 2007, two and a half years after its inception.- Responsible for overall management of the engineering team, product development, architectural design, engineering processes, and engineering projects. Presented to the board of directors on key engineering progresses, issues and risks in monthly board meetings. Instrumental in closing all major deals in the company's early days.- Grew and managed the engineering team, including full-time engineers as well as on-site and offshore contractors.
