Moved from a developer to a team leader to an engineering manager, creating a new software product that was meant to be similar to what we were working on in TANDBERG, but with tight interop with existing Cisco products and a different O/S, database, application framework, and front end.Here I learned about how things happen in a big business.

TANDBERG produced top-flight video conferencing equipment. Our team developed an appliance that bridged the meetings, lectures, and egocasts that flowed through such equipment out to HTTP. Like all TANDBERG gear we were standards compliant, so our product operated well those from our competitors.Here I learned how software development should happen.
