I was Principal and Director at Ramboll Environ, (formerly ENVIRON), working out in Scotland and London, and responsible for the company's work in Environmental Due Diligence, with a particular interest and expertise in ESG, property, contaminated land/remediation (including as an Expert Witness), risk management and wider compliance and due diligence services in the UK, Europe and further afield. At ENVIRON I have previously held positions as Division Operations Director for European and Africa at ENVIRON, responsible for the firm's operations in 9 European countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the UK, and in South Africa, and the performance of over 350 ENVIRON personnel, and as Managing Principal/Chair of the Senior Management Group in ENVIRON UK Ltd.

I was a consultant specialising in the fields of contaminated land and environmental due diligence, which included provision of risk assessment, liability management, and investigation of ground and groundwater contamination problems, working throughout the UK and internationally; also acted as co-author to some of the first DOE Contaminated Land profiles.

Member of small core team in London, based out of County Hall, London, controlling and monitoring the generation and management of special wastes, and administering technical advice and regulatory control with respect to the identification, assessment and remediation of some of the first "contaminated land" sites in the UK, including the extensive programmes of work in the redvelopment of Docklands.
