AdPR Academy is a valuable professional development experience that will strengthen students’: industry knowledge, professional skills, and network of professional contacts.The AdPR Academy is designed to provide each participant with:-Coaching and training by leading experts and professionals in the industry-Networking opportunities with corporate executives and agency professionals -Hands-on experience producing a solution for a client-Certificate of completion from UGA's Grady College, a nationally and internationally recognized and awarding-winning institution of higher education-Increased awareness of the field and connections to potential career opportunities.AdPR Academy has awarded certificates to 95 students representing 21 universities including nine HBCUs. Eighty-five percent of our graduates plan to pursue careers in advertising and public relations upon graduation. They also strongly agree or agree that the Academy was instrumental in the following ways:• The Academy helped to improve my knowledge and skills in AdPR.• Academy training added to my preparation for a career in AdPR.• I am more confident in my ability to succeed as a future AdPR professional.• I have a clear understanding of the career opportunities in AdPR.• I plan to recommend the Academy to my fellow students and friends.Our alumni have gained a variety of experiences working with top tier companies including Coca-Cola, Georgia Pacific, TBWA, NBC Universal, GE Aviation, Verizon, Porter Novelli, Weber Shandwick, H&S and many more.
