As a home educator, I have provided educational instruction and support for students in PreK- College. I have lead single, weekly, semester, and year long classes for children PreK- High School. I receive continuing education in Waldorf/ Steiner based education. I lead and organize several groups for the education and socialization of homeschoolers, including setting and organizing field trips, handling monies, reconciling accounts, organizing group buys, etc. I also motivate and encourage both parents and students and help identify problem areas.

I provide business consultation services both virtually and in person in the Charleston, SC area. As the director, I was responsible for handling monies; organizing field trips; organizing classes; handling registrations and enrollments; creating and maintaining a web presence (Facebook, website, Google+); creating and maintaining a virtual environment for classes as well as the virtual classes; as well as coordinating class scheduling and teachers, etc.I also was responsible for leading several programs within the Cooperative. These included Preschool classes, Middle and High School English, Middle School Social Studies, and High School Science classes.

For Dorchester District II, I have substituted for teachers across the spectrum, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, and from PE to Marine Biology and Spanish.

Flying J, Country Market Restaurant was a leader in travel services. While employed there, I had the opportunity to develop and improve my leadership and interpersonal skills. I was responsible for training new employees, including management, with the expectation they could run a shift within 3 days.As well as monitoring new employees, I was also charged with evaluation, management, and motivation of existing employees. This included ensuring that employees morale was maintained, as well as disciplining and mediating when necessary. As Safety Director, I was responsible for training of the staff (around 60 employees) in the monthly Safety subject. I also prepared training materials for company safety training nationwide, as well as ensured compliance with new safety regulations post- 9/11. I conducted inventory assessments, as well as maintained Accounts Payable and ensured that the restaurant stayed within budget. I researched and developed a statistical review of the DEPLOY system, as well as Restaurant Managers’ Operational Quick Reference Guide.
