Currently pursuing a Master's in Evolution, Ecology and Systematics at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena in Germany, building on a solid foundation from my Bachelor's in Biological Sciences.Recently interested in the co-benefits of nature conservation and human health and wellbeing. Currently doing a master thesis about how eco-tourism in a Hot spot of biodiversity (Amazon Rainforest) influence our mental well-being and our insect perception. Together with a great and interdisciplinary team across ecology, neuro psychology, geospatial science, public health & policy in the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv)My diverse experience spans:- Coordinating citizen science initiatives and leading innovative projects like "Wired Amazon," combining eco-tourism with scientific discovery- Conducting field research in challenging environments, from Amazonian rainforests to coastal ecosystems- Developing expertise in entomology, herpetology, and plant biology through various research roles- Utilizing cutting-edge technology, including drone piloting for ecological studiesI combine scientific knowledge with practical field and project management experience. My work has contributed to biodiversity conservation, species discovery, and public engagement with science. Passionate about bridging the gap between research and public understanding, I strive to make scientific discoveries accessible and impactful. I'm always eager to collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of our ecological knowledge and contribute to conservation efforts.Fluent in Spanish and English, with basic German proficiency.
