Bestshow Pty Ltd was founded to facilitate the provision of shutdown project management, client liaison & sales services to the Sulfuric Acid industry.

I was responsible for VIP International's activities throughout Australasia. I represented the company's core business of Sulfuric Acid Plant Maintenance across the platforms of sales / account management, technical and operations.I gained extensive, hands-on experience of Sulfuric Acid Plant maintenance and acid plant trouble shooting & inspections.During my tenure I managed & executed approximately 50 maintenance projects across Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia and worked on various acid plant sites in the USA, Canada and the UK.

During my brief stay I was responsible for client liaison and the initial setup of trials of a new technology into the reduction of scaling and fouling of vessels within the alumina industry.

I was responsible for the chemical cleaning division of the company. My duties included sales / tendering, project management / logistics and supervision of workshop and site projects.My clients included mining, chemical processing, Defence, food, general industry, uranium and both on & offshore oil & gas producers.During my tenure I increased the chemical cleaning client base and budget, was responsible for the implementation of quality assurance programs and the largest single chemical clean in the southern hemisphere.

I was responsible for plant maintenance, process control and general engineering support of the Toxic Waste Destruction facility in Kwinana. The plant treated PCBs, DDT, Dieldrin, Aldrin and a range of other organochlorine pesticides utilising a Canadian developed process route.I developed and operated the plant's computerised maintenance management system and critical spares inventory, managed the process control system and was responsible for the project management of the fabrication, installation and commissioning of a new reactor vessel.
