As Chief Executive for the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust I am responsible for ensuring that a high quality, effective, and sustainable education is provided through Christian based ethos and values across all schools in the Trust. Since joining in September 2019, the number of schools in DEMAT rated as Good or better by Ofsted has increased from 48% to 95%, and pupil outcomes increased in all measures from well below national to national over the same period. Prior to this I worked for Inspiration Trust as a Principal, Executive Principal, and Chief Operating Officer. In these roles I led the transformations of both Thetford Academy and East Point Academy from schools requiring special measures to institutions rated as Good with Outstanding leadership.I am the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Villiers Park Educational Trust and have been associated with the Trust since my time as Principal at Thetford Academy. In my past I have competed for Great Britain in duathlon and came 5th in the 2014 European Championships and 16th in the 2014 World Championships.
