I'm working with Data Science & Machine Learning for automating geophysical data flows as part of the GiRem project. In particular we will be using Machine Learning for processing cross-borehole DCIP data, in collaboration with Ejlskov A/S

MPS is a set of tools used in the petroleum industry to create geologically realistic reservoir models, while constraining geologic and geophysical datasets. Such methods are also applicable in the field of groundwater modelling. MPS tools expands the toolbox of groundwater geoscientists and assists in the assessment of the structural uncertainty related with groundwater modelling. In the MPS framework multiple geologically realistic models of the subsurface are created, with variability in areas where no constraining data is present, e.g. geophysical data. My main task was to upload seismic data to GERDA (Danish National Geophysics database) from before the official requirements specification was released in 2009.

As part of my PhD I visited Stanford University to work with Professor Jef Caers at the "Stanford Center for Reservoir Forecasting" (SCRF). The goal was to obtain further knowledge on Stochastic modelling and Multiple-point statistics (MPS). During my visit I worked with three MPS methods: snesim, direct sampling, and image quilting.
