In vitro scientist in Respiratory and Inflammation group.This role has concentrated on assay development using primary and cultured cells and the oral or written reporting of relevant findings to project teams.

In vitro scientist (Scientific Technician to Senior Scientist) with 14 years experience in Allergy and Respiratory. This role focused on development and optimisation of novel cell based assays for exploratory, screening and biomarker purposes against inflammatory targets relevant to Asthma/COPD. Responsibility for co-ordination of all in-vitro biology work for various projects and liaising with partner groups to achieve project milestones in a timeline driven environment was critical to this position. Contract work for Pfizer : As well as human tissue work on the Pfizer campus, this role focused on running multiple whole cell assays on blood samples from kidney dialysis patients at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital renal unit, analysing and reporting data to key stakeholders.
