I currently work as a product support specialist at Jacobs Vehicle Systems. Responsibilities include and are not limited to product development troubleshooting, resolving warranty issues for customers and field service representatives. Review warranty claim data, and apply JVS information on spread sheets submitted from EOEM and generate related reports.Monitor top 5 company-wide modes and aiding in appropriate action to increase FPY. Work with the value stream teams on NPR system, parts tracker and other related databases. Review & evaluate hardware both at the EOEM and material being returned from the field for warranty.Early detection of new fail modes for new and current product, to limit product exposure to customer and minimize cost impact to JVS. Working in depth with the development teams during product improvements and new releases to ensure solid warranty practices are in place.Work with EOEM to improve data reporting processes, and training in troubleshooting Jacobs product line to ensure proper repair procedures and warranty coverage policies are being followed.
