Achievements• Developed a close and trusting working relationship with the BMW F1 Team.• Introduced safe working practices with regard to fuel and oil sampling, fuel management and handling at the trackside.• Introduced stock management procedures, providing products on a just-in-time basis, reducing excess stock, and enabling cost savings.• Developed a strong support structure to provide lubricants and trackside support to the Formula BMW Series, covering five championships globally.

• Provided ongoing fuel and lubricant analysis services to Cosworth in support of Williams, Lotus, Virgin and HRT teams, to monitor enging condition and ensure full compliance with regulations.

Secondments• Four months with Vehicle Test Department, PD&T at Pangbourne reporting to the Vehicle Test Manager.• Three months with Castrol Motorsport Team, supporting the BMW Williams F1 Team and reporting to the Motorsport Technical Manager.Responsibilties• Provided a first point of contact for internal and external customers.• Supported sales and marketing staff in developing, consolidating and protecting business.• Monitored changes in industry requirements and deficiencies in the performance of products• Developed and maintained an effective information storage and retrieval system.• Estsablished communication channels with technical staff and outside agencies to monitor the development of emerging specifications and requirements.Achievements• Produced oil recommendation charts for global partner to ensure vehicles were being correctly lubricated.• Provided on-site training for major national retailer to underline the importance of correct lubricant use.• Conducted field trial for Mitsubishi to allow extended drain intervals, enabling them to remain competitive in the UK marketplace.
