As a recent graduate of a non-traditional college experience, I'd like to think that I have a unique perspective compared to my younger colleagues, thanks to having several years' worth of additional life and work experience. I try and bring that experience into the places I work. My customer service experience has given me a knack for handling people-oriented tasks, and I've been able to parlay that into a keen sense of explaining very technical ideas to very non-technical people. Security isn't just a matter of software or hardware; it's a matter of policy too, and being able to teach people as to why it's important is just as crucial as telling them that it is.When not at work, I spend my free time playing video games and hassling my cats. I'm starting the slow process of learning how to cook, and I play a mean hand of Japanese mahjong too. I'm looking forward to connecting with you!
