The Dulwich Estate is a registered charity, governed by a Scheme approved by the Charity Commission on 31 July 1995. The Charity was formally established by the Founder, Edward Alleyn, in 1619 and until 1995 was known as Alleyn's College of God's Gift at Dulwich.As a Chartered Surveyor, I am responsible for the Estates and Building Surveying Departments and the Scheme of Management in Dulwich. My role is to provide leadership, direction and hands-on support to optimise income and capital growth from the property portfolio in the best interests of the Estate's Beneficiaries.Beneficiaries include: The Chapel in the heart of Dulwich Village, Christ’s Chapel of God’s Gift at Dulwich Charity,The Dulwich Almshouse Charity, Alleyn’s School, Dulwich College, James Allen’s Girls’ School, Central Foundation Schools of London,St Olave’s & St Saviour’s Schools Foundation.
