With several high-level qualifications and decades of experience, I am one of the most knowledgeable international cross border tax specialists you can find.Born in South Africa with UK roots, I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Marketing and Business Administration in 1992. I then travelled extensively, living in London and Sydney where I worked for Chase Manhattan N.A., Lloyds Bank and Deutsche Bank amongst others. I completed a Master of Business Administration Degree in 2002, and began my advisory career in 2005, predominantly providing corporate employee benefit advice. I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and obtained the Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2013 and have been providing expert financial planning, wealth management and advice services to both businesses and individuals since then. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment in the United Kingdom and hold a Level 4 Certificate in International Advanced Wealth Management, which I obtained in 2020.In 2019 I joined Holborn as a Senior Associate in their Johannesburg Office, but my family and I are now based in Mauritius, after we embarked on a life changing journey by opening the Holborn Mauritius office during the remnants of the COVID pandemic in 2021. I am now a Senior Partner and well versed in cross border financial planning, wealth and tax structuring, as well as global mobility and investment.My wife Melissa (the love of my life) and I have two beautiful daughters, and in my spare time I enjoy socialising and family time on the beach, golf, running, scuba diving and snow skiing (when I can find snow) I've been to Everest Base camp, run 3 ultra marathons, countless marathons and ½ marathons, am a PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver and have a single figure handicap if I can get a game of golf in.My passion is assisting people structure their wealth in a way that helps them achieve both their personal and financial goals in life.
