As part of the extended leadership team, the primary function is developing and leading the national food procurement strategy by identifying commercial value initiatives for ALH Hotels within the food and hospitality categories.This role has full accountability for building supplier partnerships through effective contract management, driving continuous improvement and innovation via annual strategic sourcing plans.

Reward Hospitality is the leading national non-food distributor of hospitality products across the country with 23 locations across Australia.As part of the executive team and reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the national procurement, inventory and category management functions.

Reporting to the CEO this role forms a part of the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for overall operational, financial and HSEQ performance of the Eastern Seaboard and Northern Territory businesses including catering, cleaning, asset and facilities management. Key responsibilities include Delivery of budgets consistent with the company’s operational objectives and strategic targetsDeveloping and enhancing client relationships to ensure long term contract retention.Review and approval of capital expenditure proposals, new bid proposals and contract variation opportunities.Ensuring clients scopes of work are delivered consistently and safely across the portfolio. Provide leadership and management to the operations team whilst fostering a sustainable and positive working environment and culture.

Transformed the procurement department by developing Morris Corporation’s first procurement strategy and implementing a new suite of procurement policies and purchasing procedures. Led the team in effective category management of all facets including food, beverage, freight and logistics; fleet and equipment.As part of the Corporate strategic plan, I assisted in the development and implementation of the Technical Services division in Morris Corporation. This initiative altered the traditional organization structure to combine the supply chain, food services, mobilisations and retail into an agile team. It gave Morris the ability to deliver on our promise of a customized value proposition for our clients and residents without distraction to operations.Delivered on over 40 mobilisations and supported sites with planning and coordinating the supply and distribution of products, suppliers and sub-contractors Approved the development and implementation of cyclic menus for sites and tenders

During this time, I installed the approved supplier program into all hotels, implemented supplier and manufacturer rebate structure resulting in reduced COG's and increased supplier contributions.The hotel group also underwent an acquisition phase from 30 to 95 hotels and I provided direction during this transitional phase by aligning suppliers and installing the Coles food & beverage system and processes.Key contributor in successful Greenfield developments and hotel renovations and refurbishments.
