Position description:Ensure creative brand design & management solutions for Kmart internal communications & external customer facing POS/in-store signage and general in-store F&B’s/wayfinding graphics, digital & social graphic design, campaign led design, management & creation of Kmart assets including photography, icon and logo library, digital illustration, digital APP design(UI-UX) & development, management of partnership event graphics and design for: Salvation Army, Headspace, REACH Foundation and Graeme Dingle(NZ). With a strong focus on collaboration, teamwork and strategically led marketing campaigns, my current position within the business gives me the opportunity to work across a variety of design projects with a core focus on the customer & learned experiences and market insights, taking into account measured outcomes that continue to keep Kmart as the leader as the low cost operator retail market space within Australia.

A not for profit organisation, The Melbourne Stencil Festival was a unique and at times overwhelming experience. Managing both national and international artists and pulling together an annual week long exhibition in the City of Yarra Sculpture Gallery that included daily workshops for schools, charitable auction, curation of the exhibition which included in excess of 100 artists annually, design and installation, graphic design requirements, media interviews, council funded art installations, funding and sponsorship’s. This was an amazing experience and taught me a lot about myself while creating a network of like minded creatives.

My role as a Graphic Designer at BHP Billiton encompassed every aspect of design possible within the corporate sector including intranet design & management, annual report design, large scale signage and branding for anything from a truck, train to an oil rig or international office, general divisional and internal documentation and reports, film editing, digital media, ad campaigns, brand custodian, illustration, apparel design, art collection cataloging and visual management, image library management, asset management, print management, sourcing and procurement, event design and management with across business collaboration both nationally and internationally. The experience I gained from being a part of the BHP design studio was unparalleled and has given me the confidence to tackle any project with vigour and with the confidence that is required to achieve and facilitate design at its highest standard.
