Experienced Supplier Quality Technician having worked in a fast-paced automotive industry from 2000 to 2019 when the plant closed. Originally starting as a machine operator and then progressing to a responsible position within the Quality Department. Responsible for supervising a team of inspectors, briefing them on Health and safety, their duties and recording their findings. Daily contact with suppliers, auditing to ISO 9001 and supporting with continuous improvement activities. Reporting out at daily management meetings of current supplier status and KPI’s. Currently employed as a QT at Grainger & Worrall since February 2022 with similar customer facing responsibilities.
