Technical/Operational job descriptionDelivering services in accordance with the brief provided by the Manager/Senior Consultant,Providing cost planning and estimating – feasibility, concept stages through to project completion, Producing bill of quantities and trade package preparation: o Australian Standard Method of Measurement (ASMM) BOQ preparation, o Trade packages and builders bill.Providing post contract services Progress claims / progress valuations: o Cost monitoring reports, o Variation / claim assessment, o Forecast cashflows, o Bank reports/cost reports.Delivering in non-traditional areas such as asset and value management as required,Carrying out document control in accordance with Aquenta Consulting’s QMS Policy,Complying with the Clients’ policies, procedures and systems on jobs,Reporting to the team on: o Status against the brief, o Services delivery.

Accurately estimate the supply and installation of all types of HVAC and electrical installations in high end residential and commercial applications. Assisting in the project management when required and ensuring that the project is on time on budget and delivered safely.

•Electrical (Power & Lighting) Sales enquiries.•Accurate Power & Lighting estimation and assisting with refrigeration electrical estimations where necessary•Sales Activity Weekly Planning Documentation.•Monthly Sales Budgeting•Liaising with finished goods suppliers regarding delivery and costs to meet customer’s requirements•Attend installation sites to co-ordinate installation with subcontractors & to carry out after sales customer service requirements

•Responsible for increasing and driving new business and clients whilst servicing the organisations existing client base.Provision of Project Management, Quality Management and Solution Management.•Provision of Issue Resolution.•Provision of Project Financials.•Preparation of technical procedures, work instruction, work schedules, equipment and system evaluations, and remedial design modifications where beneficial.•Effective use of high level interpersonal written negotiation and presentation skills including follow up and other action required to progress work.•Senior participation in the development of major works and/or project plans, including strategies, tactics, methods and measurement criteria.•Leading the business, suppliers and clients to drive process improvements both internally and externally.•Ensuring business operations are managed safely.•Investigating and proposing alternative courses of action within general policy guidelines then monitor the implementation, in order to meet major works and/or project objectives and client/customers requirements.

•Attend and participate in staff meetings both at the office and on site.•Assist in design and development of system control strategies.•Produce documentation for installation and operation procedures.•Provide estimates and quotations for the electrical component of tenders as required.•Assist in coordination of shop drawings and provision of relevant tech data.•Provide on-site assistance with technical issues.•Order electrical equipment and ensure it is delivered to the site in a timely manner.•Liaise with architects, consultants, project managers and suppliers to ensure smooth project running and completion.•Maintain client relationships.•Ensure designed air-conditioning systems are going to fulfill customers’ requirements and work as specified.•Assign technician labour and advise the Service Coordinator on a daily basis.•Place purchase orders for products required for jobs including required-by-date, quote and total cost.•Monitor receipts of purchase orders to ensure they do not exceed quoted amount from supplier.•Monitor hours allocated to jobs to ensure they are not exceeded .•Assist with the preparation of Operation Maintenance Manuals in accordance with company procedure
