Responsibility for all warehousing and distribution staff and drivers across two sites.Planning, administration and movement of all incoming and outgoing materials including hazardous substances.Control of records and permits for environmentally sensitive emissions and HMRC controlled substances.Responsibility for discipline, welfare, health & safety and training of staff.Successful reduction of transport and waste budgets by over 30%, and increased on time deliveries to over 98% from 70%.Introduced stock control methods, online order book planning and waste control systems which combined to improve efficiency and reduce costs significantly.Import / export responsibility.Negotiation of all logistical supply contracts and procurement of fork lift trucks etc.
