PurposeThe Demand & Supply Planning manager oversees all planning management in South Africa and East Africa. This includes Demand & Forecasting Management, Imports, Local Production planning, Raw Mat & Pack planning, and a key role in the S&OP process.Main Responsibilities- Demand Management: Sales performance review of the markets of the zone, Local Sales forecast in coordination with Sales Managers and distributors, Activity & Special operation planning and management, Reporting and volume management in the systems used by Bel (JDA Demand, IBP)- Imports: Inventory and stock targets follow-up, import planning based on stock targets, forecast, lead times, Orders to plants (Europe, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa), Shipments ETA/ETD & container fill rate follow up- Local Production (South Africa factory): Inventory and stock targets follow-up, Weekly Production Plan definition in contact with our subcontractor, MRP Planning (raw materials and packaging) alignment with the subcontractor, Raw Mat & Pack shipments follow-up, Sourcing optimization, and internal suppliers follow up- S&OP: Key role in the S&OP process, Owner of the Demand Meeting step and Supply Review Meeting stepDifficulties this role might encounter An ever-changing environment affects demand trends and increasing complexity.
