Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the public safety, security, transportation, sheltering, and emergency preparedness programs for McCormick Place. Develops, manages, and maintains all life safety and prevention plans, including venue and event-specific plans in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and city laws. Oversees and is responsible for the management of all full and part-time security employees, involved in the securing of property from pre to post-event and securing McCormick Place 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Created digital statistics algorithms to track employee attendance rates and building occupancy saving the company $20,000 annually. Ensure/audit compliance of contract provisions between Union members and Management. Duties include but are not limited to: Security Operations, Training, Payroll, Human Resources, and Client Liaison. Provide strategic leadership in the design and development of security and life safety strategies, programs and policies that minimize risk. As a CPP, well versed in many CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Alarm Monitoring Systems,Biometric Systems, Visitor Access Systems, Electronic Tour Systems, Security Lighting, Fencing, CPTED andRetail Security Electronic Security Devices. Leads in the areas of security and life safety expertise, direction and guidance on security and life safety related matters to the management team and to corporate leadership as requested Orchestrate internal investigations involving security breaches and tampering. Confirm critical threat information and validate response. Eliminate Threats to security utilizing consistent training of myself as well as my subordinates. Integrate new security functions into the program/policies, including new camera systems and placements resulting in the elimination of blind spots to sensitive areas, life safety courses and enhanced quality control Hired a diverse quality workforce of officers; instill a shared, enthusiastic commitment to customer service as a key driver of company goal attainment. Lead by example and ensured the execution of all safety, security, and quality policies Proficient in Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring. Proficient in using payroll software Valiant.
