As the Program Manager for Ontario Climate, my job was to stop the expansion of gas plants in Ontario and advocate for the use of electric heat pumps instead of gas furnaces to heat homes. I worked closely with a variety of local ENGOs to advocate for change in our electricity sector for the adoption of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, battery.
