! am responsible for the management, procurement and day-to-day running of a fleet of 1200 assets and a budget of £10 million, across 10 countries, including the UK & US. It is necessary that I am a strong budget manager and have gained experience in negotiating with and on behalf of senior members of the management team in order to ensure that the fleet provides the best possible value for money; indeed I have reduced fleet expenditure by £500,000 over three years. I have also designed new procedures and policies for driver training and compliance, introducing new reporting structures in order to highlight and reduce accidents and costs. I have also undertaken an audit and redesign of the van fleet, liaising with users and suppliers to produce a fleet that is fit for purpose and cost effective.
