The position is responsible for providing leadership, technical expertise,support and information to the Engineering Infrastructure section as well as other internal departments,divisions and external consultants, organizations, and municipalities. This includes coordinating the dailytasks for the Infrastructure Technician position, as well as delegating.

• Documents business processes using graphical techniques.
• Develops database data configuration requirements, screen designs, and report definitions to meet users’ functional needs and MAXIMO’s technical specifications.
• Coordinates database configurations changes and report definitions with MAXIMO System Administrator and Report Developer. Including, Validating and testing business processes
• Assists in the development of project tasks, costs, and schedule.
• Conducts MAXIMO user training, including, development & updates to user manuals.
• Works cooperatively with Operations managers to determine Initial data and user requirements necessary to implement the MAXIMO software.

• The responsibilities of the position include infrastructure analysis, the development, creation and maintenance of mapping for planning purposes, updating and maintaining GIS datasets using ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
• Develop infrastructure priority ranking and needs analysis to define Capital Projects Forecast
• Run and define quality assurance and quality control mechanisms and methods on sanitary and storm systems to check their data integrity.
• Manipulate specialized software (CT-SpecCAD) to examine and produce condition reports based on CCTV and Zoom Camera inspections and maps on storm and sanitary systems to be used in planning rehabilitation and/or.
• organize data collection through surveyors and other departments employees
• Create maps for various on-going projects. Ex. Watermain Lining, Watermain flushing, Leaf Collection, Stormceptors.
